Golf Iron Lengthening

Hello,

I'm 6'2 and I am playing with a standard set of clubs.

Bit stooped over at address and thinking lengthening my iron shafts will help this issue.

Will lengthening the clubs take anything away from the performance of the clubs.

I'm thinking just 1/2 inch longer. 

I had my clubs custom fitted.  I am 6'5" and had to have mine lengthened by an extra inch.  It is all about the distance from inside your wrist to the floor.
