The Masters - whose your winner??
It's got to be the most open fields for years.
Ernie's hit a bit of form, Poulter won big a few weeks back, Westwood should go well.
Whose your pick? If TW wins it it's go to be the biggest win of his career.
I'm going for a slight outsider in Camilio Villegas.
Any thoughts??

Westwood, got to root for the Notts lad. Think he's got a good first round draw, nice and quiet

I've had each way bets on Poulter, Mickleson & Schwartzel.

I've gone each way on Villegas, Els and Cabrera

I am going to have a punt on Paul casey.

Haven't got a clue yet but the Thursday pairing of Villegas and Mcilroy with Kenny Perry could be a good game to follow. Like Villegas and Mcilroy's style of play.

I've backed Tiger at 6/1 and Ernie at 16/1. I've also gone for Poulter as top placed European. Apparently Tiger's practice rounds have been rubbish but you can never write him off, can you?

I think a European will win.
I've gone for Westwood, with Dyson an E/W bet. Yorkshire connections.
Schwartzel could surprize many too.

Pat , where's the Rory love gone ????

Westwood for me, although he's from the wrong county but seeing as it's golf I'll make an exception for him

Pat I had the same thought but are we actually missing out given it's all the show! Would love to have seen all the shots Westwood, Watson and Mickleson took to get to 5 under.

David,
That is true. The BEEB don't start showing their own pictures until Saturday.

There is also some strange tradition of only showing live coverage after a certain time, may be wrong this year but whilst the coverage will start at say 7:30pm Sat/Sun the actual live golf isn't shown until 9pm
At least they moved with the times 2 years back when Amen corner was shown via the Internet and Digital TV

Had a fiver EW on Chad Campbell and he goes and cards a 79. Bye bye tenner. Then he goes and shots joint best round of Fri 68. By that logic he,s now on for a 57.....Really though still a chance of a place
Dave Cac handed Geordie.

What shall I spend my winnings on?

I've heard they're not keen on you either Chris.
I'm gonna throw something out here. Do you think Westwood showed his hand on the 12th by taking the easy route over the bunker facing a ''safe'' 3, while Mick went at the flag and made birdie. It seemed to give Mick the confidence to attack more as Westwood was just going to ''play his own game''. Surely to win a major you have to play above your normal game.
