Darren, like the golfshake open idea but many of us do not have the ability to travel all over to compete, how about regional comps broken down into smaller regions eg: south / south east / south west - north / north east / north west etc. I understand this forms part of the open format but many of us like the idea of competition but only have time for locations in our local area, maybe this as a start then see if this leads onto an end of season (summer) competition with a one or two day event over a wekend.

Tony, that is the exact format of the Golfshake Open. Members organise qualifiers around the country with the top 4 players going through to a final organised by Golfshkae.
