Wilson Custom Fitting -bit of a con!!
I recently visited Wison Custom fiting facility in Scotland to get fitted for a new set of Di 9 irons, which i bought a week later from my own golf club.
the fitting went extemely weel, it is the second time I ahve been fitted for clubs by Wilson but my gripe is this:
Their flyer advertising the custom fitting states "Free-one dozen Wilson Dx2 soft golf balls with your custom fit experience". When I asked for my free golf balls I was told that it does not apply in Scotland , only in England. I did not argue about it too much at the time but when I retuned home I sent an e-mail to Amer sports, who own Wilson, and expalined taht there flyer did not state the offer was restricted to England only and that I should be entitled to my free golf balls.
I did not get a reply and have sent another 2 e-mails , again without getting a reply.
Now this has become a point of principle , as although I would like the golf balls ( I actually play these balls as my preference) I do not really need them BUT the point is that I should get them as I am entitled to them.
Can anyone tell me how to proceed from here as Wilson are not responding to my e-mails and i do not have a phone number for them ?

Drew, this is the 21st Century and Customer Service is non existent.

If you still have the flyer & it clearly doesn't state that the offer doesn't apply in Scotland then I'd ring up the custom fitting place & demand my balls. Keep pestering them until they give in or give you some contact details.

John P--normally I would agree with you but I have been using Wilsn Clubs since 1997 and have found their customer service to be excellent.
Any time I have had any problem with my clubs, or one one occassion a golf bag, they have pulled out all the stops to help me at no charge.
John F- I still have the flyer -problem is that there are NO phone numbers on the flyer. In fact, there is absolutely no information on how to contact them at all. I had to organise the fitting through the starter at my golf club and that could only be done whenever the Wilson rep visited my club.
One option I am considering is wrting in to Bunkered golf magazine and making everyone aware of this anomaly

Ring their head office and ask about your golf balls.
Write to all the golfing magazines telling them what has happened to you.
