rubber griplock golf bag

has anyone seen or even had one of these?

I'm thinking of getting a new bag to house my new bats (birthday pressie) and was wondering if these are any good, the bag seems up to the job just wondered about the grippy top part.

does it work, does it damage the shafts in any way etc.
