At the end of his drive!

There has to be more to this. Some are saying that he was fleeing a domestic at 2.30am.

So the banner headline on the front page of one of the tabloids - "Top golfer hits tree" - is a bit more serious than I thought!!!

World number one golfer Tiger Woods has been released from hospital after receiving treatment following a car accident in Florida on Friday.

Initial reports said he had been seriously injured, but Woods's website later said he was "admitted, treated and released in good condition".

I was listening to this on the radio whilst at work last night.

It was first stated that he had been in a car accident and was in a serious condition, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.  Listening to an American reporter it turns out that any time somebody is transported to hospital in an ambulance, then the works 'Serious condition' are used!

Why would he be leaving his home at 2:30am?   Not a normal situation so something had to have happened, a domestic or similar.

From the news he reversed into a fire hydrant and then drove forward and hit a tree.  The airbags on his car are activated at 33mph but didn't deploy so the police are taking it that the car was travelling at less than this speed upon impact.

Some people where saying about this being on his drive.  Now his drive is quite wide and long, so he could get upto a decent speed before reaching the main road.

From the radio it was stated that his wife broke the rear window to get him out of the car.

It appears that he has smacked his face and was treated in hospital and then discharged.

I've not read anything else today about this but I'm sure more accurate details will have been released by now.

You got to love this the lastest is Tiger has been visiting a hole he shouldn't and Mrs Woods ain't too happy hence the facial marks on Tigers face. She also attacked his car with one of his irons puting dents all over it and caving in the rear window , nothing like a good domestic,

Jesus, why don't they just tell the truth and have done with it. Do they think the world is stupd? Trying to say the car door was jammed so she tried to open it with a golf club? It's in the top ten for lame, ill thought out excuses.

But what was she doing with that Club AFTER breaking the window. She was apparently found stood over Tiger with Club in hand? This was after he had been pulled from the car and was laid down in the road.
