Score tracker-am i doing something wrong/

Posted by: user94811 | Mon 23rd Nov 2009 19:08 | Last Reply

I have just entered my 3rd score and was wondering when my handicap would be changed. My actual handicap is 13 ( 10 in our winter league ) but the computer has given me 28 , giving me some fantastic scores , averaging over 50 + stableford points.

Now that my 3rd score has been added, will my handicap come down to a more realistic figure?

Yep showing as 12.7 on your profile stats page - http://www.golfshake.com/user/stats/31602/

The first 3 rounds when you don't enter a handicap default to 28 strokes when calculating stableford points hence the 50+ for you.  Once your 3rd round is in then your handicap is calculated on the system and when you enter the 4th round the strokes allocation will be using 13 (playing handicap).

The strokes figure can be overwritten when you play to 3/4 et al etc and stableford points my not be calculated on your full handicap.

Sorry for the confusion the system just allows a lot of functionality based on various requiremenets.

thanks for that. Darren, hope you don't mind me asking you to authenticate my rounds.

I love the advanced stats option -lets me see exactly what areas of my game I need to work on.
