Thank you John Pettitt

Posted by: user40694 | Thu 5th Nov 2009 15:21 | Last Reply

I had been having a spot of bother hitting behind the ball recently and was at a loss to find the cause of the problem.

One quick phone call to John Pettitt and he told me the cause. Well, naturally, he was correct. The cause was I was relasing the wrists too early in the swing.

Yesterday I was back on track and was only 2 over gross after 14 holes. Then the damn rain came down and i rushed the last 4 holes, getting a bogie on each of them. We have never played 4 holes so darn fast

Thank you John.

Now..cure my darn slice please

Nice round of golf, David, pleased that your little problem has been solved, not that I didn't think that it would.

You knew the answer as soon as I mentioned it.

Regarding you fade (It is not a slice) I feel that to change to a more orthodox and correct swing is not advisable as you play to a very high standard with what you have got. You know how to make pars, so why make things difficult for yourself.
