electric or 3 wheel push trolley
I am trying to decide on going mad and buying an electric trolley or just doing the sensible thing and buying a 3 wheel with less things to go wrong.
Can anybody advise, is an electric trolley a good reliable long term option or should i just keep getting fitter.
And on the back of that can anybody recommend anything good or advise of things to avoid?
Max.

I used to carry and recently got a Motocaddy S3. Best thing I've done. Feel so much better during the round and my standard "mid-round wobble" has all but gone. Since getting it, 5 shots have gone from my handicap. You will feel the benefit, but make sure you get a decent one as the cheap e-bay stuff will not last

I carried till I was sixty two and had my first heart attack. Of course in those days we were not on the course for more than three hours with a fourball, 2 balls took less time.

Well, Stuart, if one is going to out on the course for half a day to play one round, then I suppose a little sustenance is allowed.
I am just stating that in days gone by, everyone carried their clubs and full sets at that. Now its a fashion show.

Max I agree dodgy knee/s and carrying not a good idea it doesn't help them in the slightest, those push trollies are very easy compared to the pull, not sure how it would perform in the winter months on wet ground etc ,I have the power caddy classic very basic and performs effortlessly and have had very good reliability. The classic splits into three parts an tucks nicely at the back of the car boot.
I competed in the same sport as you (enduros/solo & sidecar) for 15 yrs , I can sympathise with the injuries I managed to avoid any serious back problems but most joints are knackered.

I too have a knackered knee.. I bought an electric trolley off ebay for £50....it says an 18 hole battery but I have used it for 2 rounds ( I forgot to charge it ).. but at least I know it will last for 27 holes, as that is what we usually play on our society golf days.
p.s . the guy I bought it from said it had only been used for 5 rounds so it was nearly new. What a bargain!!
