Starting them young
I just wanted to share this video of myself and my 4yr old daughter, Rebecca, at the range.
Don't you just love it when the kids give you the perfect excuse to get some practice in!!!

Great video Steve, but how long will it be before Rebecca starts to beat you on a regular basis?

Not too long I suspect, Russ.
Sorry Tim, I forgot that your eyesight was a bit iffy. I'm the one with the bald head!!

God only made a few perfect heads....
He put hair on the rest.......

Wayne, you can give me your honest and acknowledged opinion of the technique - I can take it!!!
This offer also applies to any other members. All tips gratefully received.

Here's one tip for you Steve, put Rebecca to the front of the picture as she's got a far better swing than yours!!!!
Well you did ask!

I tried that, but she decided that she would be in far less danger if she stood behind me.
Can't say that I blame her.

Steve you tend to lift your head around point of contact. Do you have a consistent strike or occasionally top it?
Also I'd keep Rebecca in front of you. That way you can give her encouragement which in turn will give you more opportunities to get out there.k

Thanks Patrick. I usually have a reasonably consistent strike, and keeping my head down is something I've been working on with the Pro at the range, along with my swing path.
You're quite right about having Rebecca in front of me. It was just easier for the setting up of the camera. Normally, as well as Rebecca, I take my 5yr old son Jack and they both take turns in their own bay.
I see that you work at Leeds Uni. I also work at L U in the Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine at St James's. Is there a golf society at L U?
Maybe we can get out on a course sometime and discuss the state of the University finances?

Hi Steve, yes there is one though it has fizzled out lately (they still owe me a trophy for winning at Cookridge last year).
I'm thinking of playing at Hollins Hall with two others on Sun 2pm if you're interested though if you confirm you'll need to pay me £15 (usual cost £50 so it's a good deal) as it's via teeofftimes direct and I have to pay if you don't turn up.
If you can't make it this Sun you can always pm me for a later date.
