Club extentions...

Posted by: user237662 | Mon 5th Oct 2009 12:34 | Last Reply

Had a lesson for the first time in a while on Sunday and I play with my boys - 17 & 19, both around 6'2"/3". For the first time our pro mentioned they may need their shafts extending. Any idea of cost and how easy it is do?

Thanks

Henry

My youngest son is 6'4" and his wrist height from the ground places him in the standard shaft length category. Check your sons before laying out on exending the length of the clubs. Very few ever need to in my experience.

John,

Thanks for that I'll check - any indication around how to measure/compare with standard length clubs? Maybe just need to get the head angle correct?

Henry
