South Winchester sometime end of October or November
Having played with John, Stuart and Dean, yesterday, there is a general consensus that South Winchester is a magnificent golf course.
Tim Hawkins has expressed his desire to have another crack at it.
Therefore, just wondered if anybody else would like to play there before Winter kicks in?
John is away until around 20th October. I'm away until 27th October. But anytime after that is fine.
If anybody is interested let me know. Deposits WILL be required as South Winchester Golf Club gets really upset about non shows, and it makes it very embarrassing for John Pettitt as he is a Crown Golf member.

It will be better if I arrange this as I can get 205 discount for you all.
It seems the 5th is acceptable to a few of you, so when I return from my holiday I will book some tee times according to how many have made the decision to play.

You would love the course, Martin, it is definitely a golfers course, although I enjoy it as well, even though I struggle with its length.

Thursday 5th looks good for me, I'll stick it on the calender (although I may have to be 'working'. Looking forward to taking the place on again. Maybe a car share Darren?
And yes Darren all set for the adventure on Thursday, I'll give my clubs a clean Monday and give you a ring about a good time to drop them round. Thinking of making a photo-story of the trip, just got to figure a way of slinging the camera onto the bag to make it easy to carry.....
