regarding feedback
I accept that my spelling is pretty poor, but at the same time you state you have been trying to get sponsorship for years with not much luck, maybe you should change your gameplan.I offer a good service at good rates i do the job well and i am simply putting it to people if they need a caddy or willing to offer sponsorship my number is there 07732008732 and i will discuss matters further.Bottom line its not where you start its where you finish..... Nicholas
Please don't think I was being rude, was only offering advice.
I spent many years doing it, but that was in the late 70's and 80's when it was much more difficult because of the state of the media at the time (and a worse recession than now). At the time I managed to get around £12,000 a year for the running cost of the team, around £50k now? Some of the sponsors would do yearly deals, others I got for single meetings. I know how to do it and knew who and how to target potential sources of revenue, moreover I knew how to approach and handle them. You need patience, perseverance and very thick skin.
You still haven't said what service you offer apart from providing a caddy or willing to accept sponsorship - not really a sales pitch. Even with your mildly aggresive tone any potential sponsor is going to run a mile, believe me.
If you want to PM me for a chat feel free, advice is free.

I agree totally with Tim's point about professionalism.
The other thing to consider is that regular visitors to these forums are used to seeing poorly written spam messages before they are deleted by the moderators. These messages usually come from people that have only just signed up for golfshake accounts. As this was your first message Nicholas and appeared to be asking for money, however well-intentioned it may have been, it is likely to have been viewed by most people as a scam.

It was seen as SPAM, and that is why the question was asked and seeing no reply on the origional Thread it still seems like a cheap attempt at asking for money, with no real information.
Tim, I totally agree with you. I too was involved heavily on obtaining sponsors and they need a professional approach and always ask they same question "What is in it for me?"
