Society Competitions
I am running a team stapleford competition on a society day shortly, the format will be best 2 stapleford scores from each team of four, however there may be a team with just three members, how would you rectify this when entering the final results. Is there a magic formula?? Any help here would be appreciated.

can you not see if a member on here wants to play to make up a fourball - alternatively somebody at the club youre playing at may be able to (Im thinking youngsters especially)....

Peter,
This isn't much help with the issue above, but I have a great spreadsheet that could help you with your day if you would like to take a look?
PM your email address and I'll email it direct with instructions.

I can vouch for Lee's spreadsheet, indeed a great tool for a society.

and provide incentive for people to carry on playing 'well' if they have an average / poor front nine!

Many thanks for the replies, they have been most useful. This is my first attempt at organising a society weekend. There's is a lot more to it than you would realise.

Chris, I suggest you PM Lee with an email address and he will send it to you. It is rather brilliant and very easy to use.

Yes Chris, if you would like a look PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.. Get in quick otherwise I'll have to start charging people!
To those who have already requested it, I will send out later tonight. The spreadsheet was originally designed to accommodate a stableford best 2 scores from each team format. I want to add in another tab so that if you are just playing a stableford competition, you can see the scores for that too.
Cheers. I would welcome any feedback too, anything I could add, things you think it could do without.
