Caddy aid GPS

Posted by: user255653 | Wed 12th Aug 2009 13:41 | Last Reply

I'm playing Forest of Arden tomorrow and had hoped to use my caddy Aid for the first time. Does anyone have one. When I hit the test button as the manual tells me to it never finds the gps siognal. I have the blue next bluetooth gps switched on and receiving - is there a specific com port etc. Agggh - I am such a luddite, it looks like a cracking bit of kit and I'm desperate to use it.

I don't have one Stu, but I have played the FoA and they do a pretty good stroke saver!

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but have you tried it outside?  Most GPS units need to be in the open when they're first switched on so they can locate a number of satellites.
