Pro Practice rounds

Posted by: user16742 | Thu 30th Jul 2009 21:23 | Last Reply

Went to Blackpool yesterday to watch the Ladies play there practice rounds, and what a day it was. I learned so much. I would advice anyone to go if they have the chance, the pracice rounds they were so relaxed, not many people there so you could see everything and the players were really friendly.

Few things supprised me one was how fantastic there short games are, chipping and pitching from off the greens to tee pegs and hitting them nearly everytime. There swings seemed to be slower ( i have slowed mine down) and looks so effortless, no straining or anything. And they never get that upset when they hit a bad one. Watched lorona ochoa play 6 holes and she was so light hearted even when it didnt go where she wanted.

Noticed that they club similar to us mear mortals that cant drive 400yrds with a 3 iron. Was supprised to notice that most carry only a pw 51 and 56 wedge no 60 wedges
