A-level golf training aid project

hi, i am currently doing an A-level project in which i have chosen to design and make a golf training aid. i have had the idea of a golf swing groover similar to the picture shown, however i would like it to give feedback to tell the user how hard you hit it. i would like your thoughts on my idea e.g whether it is useful or needed etc.  this way i can decide whether or not to pursue the idea further. thank-you.

Is this project of yours to include Computer Software?

If not, how about designing a set of Mirrors that when you Address a Ball you can see if the clubface is square and you are lined up correctly.
