Where would you play in the sun ths winter ?
Lo all , I am starting to really enjoy my golf and am now looking to spend some time in the sun through the winter ( playing) . I have seen the posts re over priced european golf and I dont disagree but I am more interested in the good tips than the oh no dont its too expensive. So my question is whre can you recommend for good value golf in the sun ths winter. ??
I live near Stanstead airport so long weekends in a european destination would be ideal. I do speek some Spanish and French so have always favoured these two for holidays but as I said ,I realise they are not necessarily where the value is. I'm not looking for please rent my villa more looking for genuine hidden ( or overlooked) gems. I thought ths may be a good topic too :P
Cheers Mas

We are going to Vilamoura (Portugal) in August. Staying 4 night B+B with 3 rounds of Golf (Laguna, Pinhal and Quinta Do Lago south) for £273 (flights not inc). I don't think that's too bad really when you think it's £50 pn plus £73 for 3 rounds of Golf and this is in pretty high season. I'd imagine it would be even cheaper in winter.
