Courses in Portugal

Posted by: user24437 | Sun 31st May 2009 19:53 | Last Reply

Hi all

just been asked if anyone knows any courses in or around Albufera (Portugal) that are decent to play on.  They're going in July (hot?).

Any suggestions?

I don't recall getting any booklets, and obviously didn't pick up any brochures from the hotel - otherwise I wouldn't have asked!

Thank you for the tips though, will pass them on and point him to golf amigos and golfbreaks.

Looking forward to the 10th, hopefully I can actually string some decent games together.    Played two 'steady' games on Friday....

We go every year and the courses in Quinta Do Lago are very good, South being my favorite. Penina is a bit further away but a tremendous knock, and if you want nice scenery and not bothered about the cost try the Ocean Course at Vale do Lobo.

Vila Sol is good but make sure you don't play 19-27 and the Old Course is a good track.

Enjoy and drink plenty of Super Bock??
