Putting options & opinions.

Posted by: user112040 | Tue 26th May 2009 15:16 | Last Reply

Of late my game tee to green as being improving, especially since realising i was starting my down swing by stamping my left foot into the floor to help get my body through, but this was leaving the club face open, mainly with the driver.

Now that i'm finding greens in regulation i genuinely 2 putt, But last round i missed 3 good birdie opportunities, which then opened my eyes to my putting stroke. It could a whole lot better. So with that noticed i mainly miss left, to which I've been trying to putt left hand low in the attempt to conquer this fault, not tried this in a round yet just on my practise matt, its doesn't feel comfortable (to me) so was considering my options of going to a broom handle putter or belly putter.

Has anyone had any experience with long putters? if so please share, also any opinions appreciated as long as others are considered!!

Paul.

Paul, the way I see it, each to there own but is'nt going to a long putter a little extreme, surelly the short putter is much easier, with a sound stroke and propper alignment, are you a bit yippy or do you just feel like a change?
