Ayshire courses

Posted by: user223718 | Sat 9th May 2009 15:47 | Last Reply

I am coming over in July to play Castle Stuart, and then down to Turnberry for a practice round, and want to play somewhere in the afternoon.

Have looked into Dundonald, have already played Troon, Prestwick and Glasgow Gailes, so am open to something new.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Jay,

You do know that there are three Courses at Preswick. PRESWICK (the famous one) St NICHOLAS and St CUTHBERT.

You say you are playing Turnberry in a Practice Round, thats not for The Open is it? Glasgow Gailes, Western Gailes and Kilmarnock Barassie are true Scottish Courses and will be in use for Final Qualifying, so will be in "good nick"

Hi Jay

West Kilbride is just down the road from Glasgow Gailes and worth a thought, excellent course.
