"Anyone on this forum has the right to question anything I say but in order to do so effectively they have to come up with a counter argument which I will either agree with or continue to dispute. I am sorry if you do not like this approach, but until I am removed from this forum that is what you can expect."

they are not ALL trouble makers up there, some opinions are best kept to your self,

After three PM's you are still persisting in wanting an argument. Paul Hudson. Now I suggest you leave me alone as I have no wish to discuss anything with you and your knowledge of golf is zilch, so what else can you offer, besides the abusive pM's.

I rather got the impression that he is a moderater, Paul and I will not be told what I can or cannot post. If the management disagree with anything I say then I expect them to say so.

NIck, there are many fine locations in Scotland to play golf and we will all have our preferences, but if a competition is to be held in Scotland by Golfshke then it will be their decision as to where and when. We then decide whether or not we wish to attend.

Who know, with a bit of luck I could get drawn to play with the two great players who post on this forum. I like to see this game played well.

How about some real spice. A Home International GS Event?

Only played a couple of times in Scotland at Dalmahoy and Crief but enjoyed it on both occasions - would certainly be up for a go if something came up.  May even persuade my other half to come with me, especially if it we could stay at the Crief Hydro - not a cheap hotel but very civilised!

Tim,

I stayed at the De Vere Carden Park Hotel which is right on the Loch Lomond. now playing there would be a challenge but probbaly won't happenas I think even the members aren't allowed to play it??

I have been lucky to attend The Open Championship at all the Scottish venues and the welcome we got in Ayr & Prestwick for Troon was fantastic. Because they are not too far from Turnberry either, they will be buzzing this year too.

St Andrews is also a great place and as The Open is there next year why not have a GS Event linked with 'Open Week'?

So is the consensus to try and organise a golfshake trip up North for those interested ?  and the first Scottish golfshake event for anyone local ?

Any preference on location ?  Edinburgh/Lothian area would be good as I have relatives there

Nick I think the plan would be for it to be an official Golfshake.com event in Scotland and thus get some Scottish members to attend.

But I guess you have noticed that there are some hard core golfers on here willing to travel anywhere to play a round of golf

Tim,

Most of the holes on there people could reach with 2 wedges!!

Darren,

I presume you need to have TW09 on the Wii to play against other people? I only have TW08???

I'm afraid that I would not be able to travel all the way up to Scotland.

Good luck everyone though.

PS. I have started a new thread on the Wii challenge.
