best round ever

I just shot par on the first 9 holes and 8 over for the round...shame I couldn't keep it going though. that was at Oulton Hall near Leeds...first time I ever broke 80..I am so chuffed.

Thanks guys...my handicap has dropped from 19 to 15 with my last 2 rounds...maybe I'll be in single figures by my birthday (septmber)...nice to hear from you Pat, I tried to call you when we played at Doncaster 2 weeks ago but I think I had the wrong mobile number..maybe we can have a game soon...cheers

Congratulations on breaking 80 for the first time.
It's such a good feeling and hopefully it won't be your last one!
And the other achievement is that you shot level par for the front nine, something I've never done yet!
