It really was a great couple of days.  Thanks to Darren and all those who made it so.

Did anyone with GPS measure Stuart's 'longest Drive'

I've just measured it on google earth and it was at least 310yds and probably nearer 325!

Whatever it was - it was huge.  I remember coming down the 10th and seeing the marker way out there and thnking how the hell can that be right.  Like many it took me two to get anywhere near it.

Well done Darren and team, another great event. I managed to hang on to my 100% record.

Well done to my playing partner Ben. He had a good weekend. 41 points Sunday, and 38 on Monday.

Thanks to Chris and Paul, it was a close fought thing, could easily have gone down the last.

Excellent day all round. Well done to Darren and his team. Pleased that we managed to scrape home in the end. It was nice to play with John and Chris again and I am sure they will be looking for revenge next time. Thanks to my partner Darren who held tjhe ship together when it looked like we might be sinking.

Although on the loosing side, had a throughly enjoyable couple of days and already looking forward to next year's return event and the matches in between.

A special thanks to the six guys I had the pleasure to share a golf course with on both days superb company. To my playing partners, Paul day one and Ron day two, Next time I will aim for the bunkers lads?? that way I might miss them!!.

in reply to Andy K on Stuarts long drive, i had a GPS and i was in his group - it was measured at 308 yds and didn't want to come down. amazing hit and i am not surprised he got it... Well done to him (if he sees this).

I also mirror the comments on a fine day and great result. Congratulations to the South and commiserations to the North who did put up a good battle and made it very exciting throughout.

Best drive i hit all day just got lucky that it was on that hole,managed to get a par from there which was one of the few highlights of a pretty poor round. congrats to my opposition on the day Dean & Daksheet who played well in tandem making it hard for us. See you all next year where there will only be one trophy i'm after.(not LD)

Some good photos in there Colin, will have to show you how to use the camera one day to get some real action shots.
