Back in work

Well I have finally got myself a job.

Only been looking for the last five months, since I told my last employer to 'Stick your job'.  With hindsight maybe I should have bit my lip and held my tongue.

The only problem is I think it has come too late for me to make it to the NvS game.

I had my name down to play for the North team, and even had a place reserve on my trophy cabinet for my winning team medal! 

But I had to take my name off the list.

I've already told the wife I'm after a SkyCaddie GS5 and some new irons, blades maybe!

I feel quite sure that your game will not suffer even though you may play less. A great round on the Priors by the way, well done. We must play together this year.

Hey Russ, well done on the job front.

In terms of the Nvs south which team do you qualify for ?  I do have 1 very keen person who is able to play for either team. 

Let me know as if you both played for the North I do have a waiting list of a few southerns players.

Darren I would be playing for the North, as a Yorkshireman I feel it is my duty to support the North.

My induction day is this Wednesday and depending on when they want me to work I might be able to drive down on the Monday morning and play.

If work call then obviously I won't!

Russ when can you commit ?  Obviously as you understand we need exact numbers on each team. 

I have 1 other interested in playing for the North and then I need to go back to a few people from the South who have missed out.

I probably won't know until late next Wednesday.

I'm having my induction day then and I'm hoping to find out when they want me to start and what days I'll be working.

If I'm not working on the Monday then I'll try and get over to play.

I'll post on here late on Wednesday.
