Head covers

Posted by: user21284 | Thu 26th Mar 2009 19:53 | Last Reply

Hi everyone

sorry its been a while but i've been busy and haven't had time to read the forums. anyway i would like to know who has headcovers on thier driver, fairway woods, Irons, Wedges and putter?

I have a Panther headcover on my 3 wood that i brought when on holiday in florida a few years ago for $15.

I also have a Dunlop Tiger headcover for £3 at my local Sports world store for my 5 wood which i got last saturday, and i have also made my own covers out of fleece material to protect them for my irons, wedges and putter which does the job.

I look forward to read your replies and happy golfing for 2009.

I have the headcovers that came weith the woods and the putter, but I have never had covers for any of the iron sets that I have owned. In all honesty they would drive me round the bend and I am quite sure I would lose them pretty quickly.

Just the usual, driver, 3 wood, putter.  Iron and wedge covers would drive me potty and I would just end up losing them, scattered on the fairways

Covers on everything but my gap wedge (more clubs than covers!).  I bought covers for my irons because they are forged heads and I wanted to protect them from chatter damage.

I use to have covers on my irons but they were such a faff on and I got sick of running back down the fairway for my forgotten cover that I binned them...

Have covers on my driver woods hybrids and putter.....

Darrens balls, scattered on the fairway? Has he improved David?

I have a Shrek head cover for my driver. Don't know why that was bought for me!

I have the headcovers that came with my driver and 3 wood.

Covers for my irons are now in a box.  I bought them and used to take them off my iron, play my shot, wipe the club face clean and then put the cover back on my iron.  This all took time and after a round probably added five minutes onto it!

So I used the take the covers off the irons when I played and then put them back on when I had finished my round.

So one thing lead to another and now I don't bother using them!
