Is this a record?

Posted by: user97421 | Mon 23rd Mar 2009 12:18 | Last Reply

Yesterday we had 30 players taking part in the 5th round of the winter league at Bondhay. Its a great course, but the wind was blowing, making it even harder.

Out of the 30 entrants, 6 tied for first place with 29 points, so count back had to be used to determine the final places.

Can anyone beat or know of more than 6 people tied in first place for an event?

I'd also like to know if 17.5m is the furthest distance for winning a nearest the pin comp (well done Malcolm for that - I told him he'd win it with that).  Shall I bring my 30m tape for the next one Al?

Only if the wind is blowing Tim, perhaps there should be a similar thing to countback for nearest the pin - nearest the green?

"Nearest the bin" - Now that's a competition I'd have a great chance in Al!!!!!
