Which ball do you use.
With so many golf balls on the market i thought it would be good to see what feedback there is on various ones out there. I see theres a new Pro V AND Pro V1x out now will anyone see the diffrence between the old and the new. Personally I love the titelest nxt tour. I find it an great all year round, very dureable. As im not a long hitter I would love to use the Pro v more as i do get more distance with them but i find them so expensive. so nxt for me how about you.

AD333's for me. Cheap(ish), durable and I like the feel. Flirted with Bridgestone B330S's earlier this year and really liked them, but a tad too expensive for me unless I can get a good deal on some.

I've started to use the Titleist Pro V1.
At my golf club I find loads of these balls in the ponds and woods so no shortage for me.
They are good for distance and I find them very good around the greens.
And to be honest they don't damage as easily as I thought they would, the old Titleist Balata's used to mark up badly if you mishit a shot, but the Pro V1's don't.

Used to use NXT's, then moved to Pro V1's for feel around the green. Then I went to Pro V1x's as I found I was longer and straighter off the tee without losing feel. Now I'm on Bridgestone B330-RX. Great ball, straight and long, can be shaped if you want (and sometimes when you don't!) and I find it lasts a lot better than the Pro V1's. Feels a touch harder than the Pro V1 but not enough to feel like a compromise.

Talking of AD333's I've just got another cracking deal - wish I could find someone who does the same with B330S's...

I use the Dunlop LoCo or Quadra link. I really can't justify spending silly amounts on a ball until I'm much better.
I have used the Pro V1 and The taylormade TP black and noticed no difference in distance or feel. that could be due to my ability though
I do find it strange that quite a lot of Higher handicappers believe that the "better ball" makes a difference to their game.
I'm willing to bet that it doesn't much if at all

Good on you David,
With that handicap, you can probably tell the difference straight away.

DDH is like a rock mate!

I have lost my Z-balata, well not strictly trrue, I belted it down the first after my game yesterday.
Now in the market for another ball, that has the qualities to reduce my handicap.

Have you not heard of that expression, Wayne?

I could have said I larruped it down the first, would that have suited you better?

I've allready fitted him Paul, he will become a Bridgy deciple after tomorrow.Lol.

Wayne. I bet the first one you hit will feel like a stone, but snick off the club really sweetly. They feel (or sound) a lot harder than they are. Very easy to get used to I found.

i've used many different balls, mainly lake balls [ put most of them back in to the lake] and have'nt noticed much difference in any of them probably because i'm a high handicapper, but since using Dunlop loco's i can definatley say that i've improved a bit especially when chipping. just seem to get more feel from the ball. and there really cheap.

The DDH is Great for Driving!
I'm not sure if it would make a difference to my game as a whole, as I said I dont think i'm at a level to know the difference. I have a sleeve at home and will play on Saturday with them.
