NOT ALLOWED
I have two regular playing partners ,
Both run their own businesses as i do
We have not hit a ball since the end of October
Guess why
Their wives wont let them go
Does anyone else have this problem.

My missus has admitted that I can play when I like on the condition she can have a whinge about it when she wants. She says she'd never stop me playing, but by having the occaisional nag it means I don't take the pizz!!

After what she has paid out on golf related xmas/birthday prezzies, I don't think she will be stopping me soon. I've even been allowed to take my clubs on honeymoon!

My wife would not even think of trying to stop me......
And on the same token I would not try and stop her doing things she liked...
Jesus...we are only married - not joined at the hip...

My girlfriend is great, never really gives me grief about going to football or when I go off to play golf...might be different if we had kids or I worked all the hours that god sends and I was never at home to spend time with the family. I could see how that would not go down well.
Trouble is, I think there would be an almighty row if she moaned at me for wanting to do either!

I must have the best wife in the world, so never stops me playing golf, ever!
She does moan about it at times but I can put up with that, and yes she does get other jobs done when they are needed, which is only fair.

I'm sorted as the missus is a football fan and we have season tickets next to each other. She started learning to play golf too but it's likely she'll only be a fair weather golfer.

My missus tends to be at work most weekends so don't have a problem as long as the dishes are done and the hoovering. 10 minutes work, easy. She has hinted on several occasions though about taking up the game, but every time I suggest we go to the range or practise area to get her started she moans and says she just wants to go straight on to the course. I won't let her do that until she has some basics together so she doesn't 'wreck' the course. That's the only time we argue about golf.
