Happy New Year

Posted by: user198767 | Mon 5th Jan 2009 13:02 | Last Reply

Hi,

Just joined so I thought I'd introduce myself.  I'm a golf pro, I play on the Euro Pro and Jamega Golf Tours.  I have a website, www.samjarmangolf.com if you would like more info.

I love talking about the game so please feel free to ask questions either on here or PM me if it's something personal.

Looking forward to getting involved in the forum.

Best regards and Good Golfing in 2009.

Hi Sam, welcome to the site.  I am sure you will be great addition to the merry band of golfers who pass through here.

Next time I'm at Collingtree Park I will pop and say hi.

Regards, Darren.

Hmm, it's only about an hour down the road from me.  Might have to take you up on that Chris.  After the game I had at the weekend (not even bother tracking that one) I could do with a) another new course, and b) a bit of tuition...

Put me down for that, or shall I create a mini game?  Collingtree is a cracker of a course.

Anyone fancy a week day game ?

You're like a frigging rat up a drainpipe Williams!

I've got the voucher through from the Belfry for the New Year's Eve fog-off.  We have to have a four-ball on the PGA by the end of March and it'll cost you £20 (as I've already paid for all four rounds).  However, I've just called them and was told that we can upgrade to the Brababzon for just £10 each Mon to Fri through Jan.  Downside to that is they only do a 10:30 shotgun start through the winter.

Why does it have to be a mid-week game Darren, some of us have proper jobs you know!  If it does have to be mid-week can you make it a Friday then?

By the way, welcome to our little club Sam.  Nice to have someone who knows their stuff on here and is willing to share snippets of advice.  We have a few but for us course choppers it's never enough.  In case you didn't know, here's the directions to the clubhouse -> http://www.golfshake.com/forums/view/1852/GSSC_Come_on_In.html

I'll have to use holidays for a Friday too, it's just that as I do a half day on a Friday I have to take less hours.  And she doesn't need an excuse to nag repeatedly inform me.  My holidays are tight this year due to taking two weeks off to go to St Maarten on honeymoon.
