Weekday Game - W London/Surrey/Berks
Hi
Looking to play on a regular basis this year, miss out on so much last year. If anyone fancies a game drop me a line and see what we can sort out. I work shifts so days will change week to week.

A long long while since I played Puttenham, a delightful course.

Looks like a lovely course.

Richard, it was 1964 when I lived in Godalming, I was an artisan member at St.Georges Hill, Weybridge at the time and we played a match against the club there.
I would love to play there again, so if I rehabilitate quickly then I would love to join you for a mid week game.
I am a meber at Sherfield Oaks so I can accommodate you there if you wish.

That's it then, I should be ready in about a fortnight, so anytime after that will be great. I had already planned my first game back was going to be with you Danny anyway.

Fridays seem nice and empty.
Any Friday from when Johns up and about would be good.

I would think that I should be OK by then.

Hi Chaps,
I see you have a fourball for 30th Jan so wouldn't want to break that up. I live near Epsom so would love to come for a game with you on the following outing.
If you ever fancy a game at Gatton Manor that's my home course so that could also be arranged but best to wait until the Spring as winter isn't too kind to us

We will certainly get together for a game, Simon. Have you thought about putting your name down for the N v S match to be held this year at Wokefield Park. Reading.
Look under Groups/events and you will find it. We need good players as we lost again last year.

Just put my name down. Sounds great

Sorry to hijack the thread guys, but I'd be interested in the N v S comp in April (for the South) but there doesn't appear to be too many details.
Does anyone know the price for the day?
Cheers
Lee

Lee, shhhhhhh. All coming very soon. I just wanted to put up an earlier info page for the event whilst we finalise everything. Just to let every one the 3rd NvS is coming !
Lee, feel free to register now. Further info to follow and you can then drop out if you wish.
I will obviously contact those in the Events group and market to the whole site once finalised.
John, are you pitching to have a team of single figure golfers You sure do want that trophy this year.
Regards, Darren.

Darren, good players are always welcome, cannot have too many. This year we are taking it seriously.

Matchplay pairs Martyn. Even though it is a 'friendly' comp and the banter is superb, it is played in the right manner. The matches get taken VERY seriously by the competitiors while on the course but once back in the clubhouse, it is purely bragging rights and banter. You may even get a captain riding around in a buggy trying to find out how his team is getting on......

It seems that Kevin Hewett has registered for both teams. Simon Bale and Martyn please register for the South not the North.

It may not be life or death to you Chris to us is far more serious!!

It all comes down to handicaps at the end of the day, Wayne. Fourballs are always a lottery, the match would be far better played as foursomes, the real format, as played in the Ryder Cup and all other top line competitive matches.
