cheating bloody fathers

Posted by: user130802 | Tue 30th Dec 2008 22:05 | Last Reply

well im here for a rant!!

im new to golf and its not often i'll win a round of golf. so i was overjoyed to be winning a family game with my brothers and dad over the christmas weekend. only for the old git to start dropping shots off here and there, he was rumbled once but after that you cant really say anything, all in he "won" by one shot, bloody outrage!!!

Robert

I've played with people like that.  So what, it niggles but they're only fooling themselves.  If you have the satisfaction of taking on a course and getting a good result then that's all that you can aspire too.  And besides, if he's anything like my Dad you can afford him a bit of slack safe in the knowledge that you both know who won really!
