Merry chrimbo and happy new year

don't be a wus dave, the challenge is beating the higher handicappers of full handicap. We will then have the BRAGGING rights. Seriously though, would love to see you there.

I will see how I am towards the wkend recovering from Bronchitus I would love to join you have'nt played since my back to back wins.

You only beat me at The Belfry because we were off 3/4 Dave. I had to give up 5 shots, you only had to give up 2 and you only beat me by a point. 3/4 handicaps is cheating for low handicappers if you ask me and any low handicapper asking for 3/4 is a ba#~!t.......

Chris,
He must of beat you by more than a point cos I'm came 2nd & he pipped me to the post??
John.

Ok, it was two then. But I would've gotten away with it if it weren't for those pesky kids.....

Err Chris, I think you'll find it was more than 2
Playing off 3/4 handicaps, we went for a pound in each with £2 for the front, £2 for the back and £3 for the round.
- Front 9 - Chris Perry, 16 points
- Back 9 - Dave Ley, 15 points
- Round - Dave Ley, 28 points
Full results were: -
John.

That's it, you're off the christmas card list! I honestly thought it was closer than that. I stand correctted and accept my stupidity

I think the top 4 should be quite pleased with themselves considering the conditions we played under. Wet ground ,no roll and the coldest wind I have played in for a long time.I don't think I have ever been as cold on a golf course as them last 5 holes straight into a biteing wind. Without doubt the toughest finish I can remember but enjoyable.

And the bloody tea wagon wasn't about! Was a tough game Dave but, as you say, very enjoyable. If we can get a calm day on the 15th March then it will make the day more enjoyable but if the wind does get up again it will really sort the men from the boys.

You must have missed the wagon Chris but we had it .I will never forget PW buying a small bottle of whiskey and necking it havin endured a testing round thus far,I thought to myself than f#@k they dont sell rope!! I'm sure his mind was else where that day.
Santo I would love to play this weekend but if the weather does'nt kill me off the wife/nurse would..........I really would be taking the P###. I hope the weathers kind for you all jealous Dave.
