See you next year...Let's just hope we have better weather in 2009, and that Darren can actually organise an event without all four seasons happening on the same day.

I do believe that this was the year that we really got a community going.

A Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to one and all.  I hope Santa is kind and the golfing gods shine on you all. 

Thanks to Darren, Luke, Helen and all the others who have kept the site going despite our eternal whinging, and thanks to all of you with whom I have enjoyed a either a game or merely banter for making my golfing experiences to date (mostly!) enjoyable.  I hope to meet and play many of you in 2009.

Remember you can always blame your over-indulgence on a poor round of golf, but come July it will start to wear a bit thin.
