New woods - new avatar!

Posted by: user24437 | Wed 17th Dec 2008 15:25 | Last Reply

OK, now it's official, have retired the old Ben Hogan CS3 Big Ben driver and CS3 5 wood and with it the old avatar.  They have been replaced with MD EQL driver and 5 wood, complimenting the similar 3 wood and 21deg rescue I've already got.

Friday at the Belfry will see their first outing, if the couple of spells at the range are anything to go by I've got high hopes for them.  Then again I've said that before....

Especially interested to see how the driver goes with it's new Graffaloy Prolaunch blue shaft rather than the standard UST Proforce, with only the slightly added pressure of David Ley seeing how badly I can hit the first few with his handywork.

Expect to see them all on e-bay Saturday?

PS. - the avatar is the first public release of a picture of the now legendry 231A putter - the skeleton body (I know it's an oxymoron) - in case anyone was wondering.

Shameless advertising of a new product - spam?

Im glad to see project 231 is still up and running, hope to see it in the shops in 09!

New woods, new avatar, all you need now is a new swing!

Does 231A come with an anti-lipout device?  If it does, I'll have three.......

Nobody will be able to buy that particular one Luke, it's for me and me alone.
