Driver rattles

Posted by: user115733 | Sun 30th Nov 2008 11:10 | Last Reply

I use a callaway big bertha 460 driver which has developed a rattling sound in the club head. What i need to know is whether this means the driver is broke and needs replacing or is it something simple like a fragment of glue broken off and can it be repaired, in which case where do i take it for repair.   Thanks for any advice.

Nigel,  use a heat gun on the bottom of the club head to melt the glue that is sat there. Shake the head around and what's rattlng will get caught in the glue then allow to cool.
