"Whats your idea of golf heaven"
OK lads/lasses... picture it, money is no object as the lotto numbers have finally dropped and you can finally retire to your GOLF HEAVEN. But what would that be??????
For me it would be... retire the missus and kids to southern Spain in a villa in close proximity from at least five great courses and at least one major city so the missus can go boutique shopping daily and leave me be from 9-3 to develop my golf swing under a very expensive( but good!) golf pro seven days a week!
WE CAN BUT DREAM!!

Depends what you mean by unlimited funds - could have some fun with £5m but I'd need £120m for my real dream. I'd need that for the 2 Bugatti Verons (£1.6m), buying the Old Hospital up the road (£3m) from me and converting the grounds into a couple of championship courses (£1m a hole) and the building into a golf retreat (£5m). Then there's the house in Carmel, California next to the golf courses (£?m) and the Gulfstream 550 to get us there....
Probably buy a dozen Pro V's as well

Blimey, it's still alive!
I'd need two because I can't decide whether I like the blue or red one, so I might as well have both. As for handling it? I'd take you on on two or four wheels anyday and wipe the floor with you, you silly old fool.

I'd deffo take you on with 4 wheels...Especially with the beast I just bought myself.
Pray tell old boy,are we still a cat man? I've just noticed your Hcp well done in joing the singles club.

Now then, let's think about this one:-
Membership to Augusta, Regular 4 ball with Tiger Woods/Ben Hogan/Annika Sorenstam, married with 2.4 children to Paula Creamer, unlimited play on any course in the world and the private jet and yacht to get us there.
Oh yes, and wads of cash in the bank !!

Im not sure I'd fancy leaving the UK, as rubbish as it is most of the time, the golf courses are awesome! Would certainly have trips abroad, but I would get myself a castle in Scotland and then play the best links courses in the world everyday or I would buy a huge mansion in Surrey and get membership at four of five courses round there! Different course monday to friday, leave the weekends free to fly my private jet!

My two little bits of golfing heaven money can't buy. The sound a shot makes when I hit a ball off the tee with the middle of the club and watching the last 10ft roll of a long putt when I know it's going in. Don't experience either very often but it why I keep coming back for more.

To be able to play when I want on good quality courses with the sun on my back and little or no wind. And to know that each time I go out I will be able to play to the best of my ability without having an area of my game let me down.

I was talking about golfing heaven. If you hit it so sweet it doesn't make a sound I think you have achieved Nirvana. ,
