Golfshake Leaderboard.

Posted by: user10367 | Tue 4th Nov 2008 13:27 | Last Reply

Darren can I say now that the idea of putting the top 4 players on the above board together for the last event (End of season shindig) is a no no

I wouldn't do that, and where has anyone seen me play mindgames anyway. I do honestly think that the leading players on the Order of merit should go out in the first few groups.

Does Phil Micklson say he doesn'y want to go out with Tiger Woods for fear of being intimidated ? Or any other golfer for that matter.

Whatever is decided a great day will be had and congratulations will go to the eventual winner, whoever that may be.

I am sure everyone else would agree, lets not take it too seriously, but remain competitive.

You'll still only be 7th Wayne, and I'll be 4th!  Only need around of 43 points to pip MM for top spot (as long as he doesn't score better than 38!).  You only need a 41 top win it!

I think comparing yourself and Santo to Tiger and Phil is pushing it a bit Martin

Now, I think I only need 57 points, Santo to tread on a landmine in a bunker, Martin to drown trying to play out of a water hazard and Tim to get sidetracked by an interesting technical feature in the car park and the title is mine!!!!!!!!  I'm in with a chance then......

Have you seen a revised table Tim, to have the placings you have quoted above. There are any number of players who can win, it all will go down to who plays the best golf on the day.

As, regards my scores, I will have to play really well to beat 38 and improve, so from my perspective, I can only sit and watch and wait for final scores to be posted.

OK, maybe Craig Stadler (due to my physical resemblence) and maybe Paula Creamer (since Santo looks like a girl in pink !!!!!!!!!!!)

Pretty sure you've got it in the bag Martin, can't see Paul H or Mark E on the entry, Kev Hewitt could do but I don't think he's going either.  There could be a late mover from the bottom of the pack, the only likely one is some bloke called D. Millichip on 36.  Most people need a +40 score to get near.   If they don't play I need to be 8 points better than my best score to pip you - so realistically it's a scrap for 3rd.

I need to secure a 35 pointer just so I beat Tim! I always do better on the first day of the golfshake comps, so this might be my chance to shine!!

If Sundays results count I got 35, so that means you need 38 to beat me Luke!

We all hve days where everything goes right for you, so anything is possible. I had one myself a number of weeks back by shoting level par 71 gross around my home course t win a big board competition.

Hense the reduction in handicap. It's not over until the fat lady sings (or me in the bar if I end up winning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I think I need a 41 and I've had two of those this year, one of them in HHC 1.  Unfortunately Darren didn't pitch up so it doesn't count or I'd be riding high now

Don't forget the South Winchester Friendly should count to the OoM too as Luke attended that. Maybe someone scored well there. That would really spice things up at Staverton!

It did indeed and the guy who shot 43 points may be playing at Staverton.

Could come right down to the final hole on the 23rd!
