brandhall west midlands friday 24th oct.
Hi all,
i'm looking for a playing partner for friday the 24th october, as my usual partners have work commitments and cant make our usual friday game, plus its the last chance for me to play before i go on my hols!
I'm avalible to play at any time during the day and would play at the following courses
BRANDHALL; OLBURY, WEST MIDS, HILLTOP WEST BROMWICH, or any other courses in these surrounding areas.
I really dont fancy a round by myself, players of all abilities welcome and maybe a chance to join up with a regular playing partner

Hi Paul, I'm playing at Newbold Comyn in Leamington Spa on Thursday and probably Friday, you're more than welcome to join me mate. Teeing off at about 2.45 both days.

Sure, the other possibility is The West Midlands at Balsall Common, always wanted to play there but although its only 20 minutes from me it'll be a struggle getting 18 in before dark. I finish work at 1pm, booked in for a haircut straight after so could make it for about 3pm, dark by 6pm?

Errrrr, word of warning lads. The clocks go back this Sunday so teeing off at West Mids at 2:00pm on the 7th Nov will mean finishing the round in the dark!!! And you don't want to play the 18th there with failing light...... I reckon 1:30 will be the absolute latest you'd get away with, and that may be pushing it and hoping for no delays. 1:00pm is the real cut off IMHO.
Oh, and of course I'll join you. Any opportunity to beat Paul again would be gladly accepted.

I forgot about the clocks, what a shag.
I'll try to be there for 1.30 then.

US is good, course getting heavy but interesting. I don't have to be a bandit to beat you, you beat yourself. I'm just there to pick up the pieces. You proved that by blowing it on the last hole last time we played when you lost it from a shot up.

Silk purse and sow's ear. I'll look out for the listing.

I've played with you often enough Mr Williams!
You'll be fine. You only need tweaks and a pro will be able to spot that quickly enough. The rest is between your ears, and that's mainly down to self belief.
