Faldo Plans Europe Ryder Cup Team Pairings
Captain Nick Faldo was caught on camera at the Ryder Cup with an important looking piece of paper. With his secrets out only two days before the start of the action at Valhalla, there were many questions to answer.
But Faldo was elusive about his notes; first claiming the scrap of paper as a sandwich list, before finally admitting that it was the real thing. Although it is expected that Faldo will make some last minute changes.
The paper had pairings on them - Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood, then Padraig Harrington and Robert Karlsson. Underneath them were the initials of Justin Rose, Ian Poulter, Graeme McDowell and Paul Casey, then on the next line Oliver Wilson, Soren Hansen and Miguel Angel Jimenez. Although Henrik Stenson's name was missing.
The match starts with foursomes on Friday morning and both team captains have to hand in their line ups at lunchtime on Thursday.

Certainly not impossible but highly improbable. The foursomes require both players to be on the top of their game whereas the fourballs can be a lottery, anyone could win those.
