Golfing faux pas
Ive only just found out that the little flags under the main flag on a golf course denote the position of the pin in relation to the green.
If the little flag is high up the pole then the pin is at the back of the green.
If the little flag is central up the pole then the pin is central to the green.
If the little flag is at the bottom of the pole then the pin is at the front of the green.
Sorry to anyone who played at Canford Magna courses last weekend as I did not know this and i spent the weekend moving the little flags up and down as I thought they were suppose to be the middle. ooopss.
Anyway someone must have beat me and have a story of someone making a bigger muppet of themselves on the course... any volunteers?

If you want to know what I did silly on the golf course, ask anyone who was near the 18th when I approached at the North v South this year.

Which of the 3 or 4 attempts was the silly one Chris?

Every one after the first as I would've had to chip straight in for a point and we had already won the match 6 & 5.
