tees???

Question

I have read a lot about golf equipment in all the mags you can buy and through them I have found what I feel are the best golf balls for my game (Nike) but have been looking at articles about golf tees???? Crown/low drag/ feather/wooden/plastic …

Am I really stating the obvious when I say that they surly can’t make any difference to your game????

I just use the castle ones.  I know what colour I need as a standard for each club and can adjust for a higher or lower ball flight as required by changing to another colour.

My view is that as a high handicapper there are enough variables in my game so if I can remove one by having a consistent tee height, all the better.

Paul comments that the castle tees are slightly off as far a height for him , I found this an issue as well and moved to the "Step Lift Tees" as they offer me the consistant height for my driver.  To be honest I originall got these tees off the front of a magazine and decided to give them ago, since then my kids buy be a pack on my birthday and at Christmas.

All other clubs I use a wooden tee.  A couple of years ago I bought 1000 for £20 split them with a mate and neither of use have bought tees since.

At the end of the day if all the gadgets and gismos out there that promise to add 10 yards onto your drive or help remove slice/hook spin etc were all true we would all be hitting the ball dead straight 400 yards !!!
