joining up

Posted by: user112040 | Sat 16th Aug 2008 17:08 | Last Reply

due to the school holidays, the only way i could a game yesterday was to join up. usually i,m a nervous golfer in front players i don't know.

but i know i need to do this more to better my confidence. i join up with a very accomplished player who used to play off 6, but took a few years out.

i had a great time playing my new friend, with whom i can learn alot from, and i,m now totally sold on the idea of joining up, after having a previously unpleasant experience with two snobby gents!  i hope i meet many more players like the one i met yesterday and my confidence is growing daily.

well it would do! having won by eight shots and playing a course best from myself.

As a single golfer, that's basically the only way I've played for the past 10 years....joining up with a two or threeball.  Once in awhile, I get a real dorky group but not to often thankfully.
