Start 'em young

Posted by: user87185 | Fri 1st Aug 2008 18:40 | Last Reply

I have just bought my son a small set of junior clubs. He is only 5 so even the par 3 courses are a little long for him at the minute. We play a pitch & putt course on the North Coast about once a month when we are up seeing my wife's parents but I cannot find a pitch and putt course in Belfast. If anyone knows of any I would be very grateful.

Cheers,

Peter

Peter, its great to start them young but good way to learn them is from the green back.Instill putting and chipping skills first the rest will happen naturally, after all a full swing is just a long chip.Best of luck and most of all keep it fun.Watching my 6yr old daughter swing a club  gives me as much pleasure as playing.
