Open Winner

So Lee Westwood will win at Royal Birkdale. Another fantastic showing from young Rory McIlroy and Sergio comes up just short again. Mr Harrington finds the burden of defending the title too much and finishes well off the pace (maybe even misses the cut).

Any thoughts?

I was impressed with Richard Green at Loch Lomond, a really nice smooth swing and a steady putter.

I'm backing Garcia, I just hope it's a european winner.

Im going to do my usuall and Put a couple of quid on Monty..... I started backing him about 5 years ago and its become a twisted OCD habbit of mine now! And at 66-1 he might recoup all the money ive wasted in the past! 

Other than Monty ill have a couple of quid on Jimenez and Singh at 66/1 and 20/1 respectivly its worth a punt!

E/W for Jimenez and Rose.

 Jimenez has been playing consistently well...is the other Spaniard...and if not him i just feel that Rose will have agood showing 10 years after his amateur debut at Birkdale.

My money is with the bookies...be nice to get it back.
