Joint venture between a physiotherapist and golf professional.

Hello,

My name is Mike Aunger, I am a physiotherapist currently working in and around London.

I have been playing golf now for the past 2 years and I am slowly grinding down my handicap, as we all know this is a notoriously slow and frustrating process, unless of course you are Tiger Woods!

I have an idea to develop a partnership between a Golf Pro and myself potentially developing the business model at a later date.

Recently I had a lesson with a Golf Pro at City Golf and during the lesson it became apparent that I needed to rotate my hips throughout the swing more. However, due to my previous days of playing rugby, I was unable to get my hips moving due to tightness in my gluteal muscles. Therefore, to allow me to put into practice the valuable tips the Golf Pro gave me I had to first undertake a stretching programme for my gluteal muscles. I have since noticed a vast improvement in my swing and consequently an improvement in my overall game. I believe that without the insight that the Golf Pro gave me that I may never have realised the tightness in my gluteal muscles was present. However, without my own physiotherapy expertise I do not believe i would have been able to fully adopt the advice given.

I believe that a joint venture where by I would be available to offer physiotherapy advice alongside a golf pro would allow fellow golfers to improve their game.

If this partnership is of interest to anyone then please contact my via email or by phone.

Kind Regards

Mike Aunger
