highest handicap

hi all another little question for a new player.
whats the highest handicap?
i dont have one as yet as ive only played 2 18 holes. the rest are 9 holes. i plan on another 18 nest week. was just intrested what the highest handicap i could get...im not very good (at least i can only get better)

Richard, unless you're female or a junior you've got it at 28.
