Golf on TV Sky v Setanta etc
I was wonderig if anyone else actually has Setanta ? or has done. I can't see how they have enough subscribers to make a living unless they are far more popular in their native Ireland.
I was going to try golf via Sky Sports but they messed me about re fitting plus as someone who doesnt like footie £26 a month was pretty steep to watch a bit of golf.
I bought a second hand sky box for 30 pounds and got myself a sky card and presto for 10 pounds a month with Setanta I get a lot of golf programmes and plenty of golf tips/news progs too ( Setanta Golf Channel isnt on the digital TV version).
I cant praise it enough for a tenner after all what can you get for £10 these days. I particularly like the Faldo and Monty golf tips videos though they are old they are still superb , oh and I like boxing so that's a bonus.
I was a bit sceptical about it being U.S golf but TBH the courses are stunning in the main and it really is interesting to follow with the Tiger and Mickelson factor in there too :P

I get it free with my Virgin Media TV package, I was going to pay the £10 to upgrade, lot cheaper to Sky, but discovered for only £8 to upgrade my TV package they gave you all the Setanta channels free. Guess this is how they keep going, bulk charge to the likes of Virgin.
Pretty impressed though with the PGA coverage bit annoying when the odd event is on Sky which I believe is what is planned for the Ryder Cup.
