What's a sticky post?

Sticky posts have appeared on the menu. What do they do, apart from trap flies?

I think that they are posts which stay at the top of the forum menus so they are there for all to see whenever they log in or join

Yep, keeps announcements, important posts, interesting topics at the top. Controlled by me/Luke at present but I may switch over to moderators etc
