RIP - old faithful
Yesterday I lost a ball - nothing suprising in that I hear you cry (especially for those who've seen me play!). However, I realised that it was brand new when I popped it from the sleeve after pitching into the water at the Donnington event and lost it yesterday. It lasted for 4 1/2 rounds and after a bit of stats analysis that worked out at 81 holes and a remarkable 347 shots!
I realise that it may have degraded in performance, but frankly with me it's hard to tell.
Is this unusual? Is anyone sad enough to know?

I don't have any of the balls that I used at Donnington, none of them were any good, so I chucked them.

No David, they are still sitting on my desk, because having read the logo it would be a shame to use them at all.

er.. yeah.

I don't tend to cut them up, there's usually a large clod of earth/grass/mud/sand to cushion the blow beteween my club and the ball.
